Converting Round Shower Floor Drains To An Ebbe Square Shower Floor Drain

3” PVC or ABS light commercial shower floor drains with round grates similar to this can now be adapted to Ebbe America square shower drains.

You use an Ebbe E205 Riser ID Bond Adapter it was designed for converting a round shower drain to an Ebbe square shower drain.

                                                                                           

Here’s how the conversion is accomplished.

1.       Start by cutting off and keeping 1” to 1 ½” of the threaded barrel from the 3” drain riser as shown.

2.      Insert and bond the E205 adapter into the inside diameter of the uncut side of the 3” riser barrel section using an ABS or PVC cement depending on your barrel section material.

 3.      Thread this new adapter assembly into the 3” drain’s clamping plate.

4.      Thread the ebbe E4400 into the E205 as shown.
