I recently purchased one of you square drain kits and the plumber installed a Jones Stevens drain in the shower but it seems as if the threaded portion is slightly bigger than the ebbe square drain. Will this be ok?

Thank you for your question, yes it will be fine, the threads don't need to mesh together perfectly, the threads are simply their to use in the height adjustment of the Ebbe drain body.  This will not effect the waterproofing of your shower.  We would like to suggest wrapping the drain body threads with Teflon tape a few times this will cause a better fit in the threads and hold your drain body in place better.
